Teaching:I have more than thirty-five years of experience in teaching in Neuroscience and Biological Sciences in various universities in Australia, USA, UAE, Bahrain, Brunei, and Pakistan.
Grants: generated over 2.3 million USD in grants from different private and government agencies of six countries.
Stroke meter: a rapid diagnostic test for stroke and other vascular disorders such as schizophrenia.
Publications: Around 70 articles in refereed journals, edited 10 books & wrote 11 book chapters, two invited reviews along with more than 100 national and international referred conference abstracts.
Mentored thirty-four postgraduate students.
Invited as keynote or plenary speaker at over 80 international conferences.

Established “Nobel Prize winning” technology of Patch Clamping for the first time in Pakistan, at the Panjwani Centre for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, University of Karachi.
